EFT for General Stress Relief

One of the most effective ways to learn this technique is to follow along as a seasoned 'tapper' leads the way.
In this audio we will address General Stress Relief. Use it to effectively reduce your stress level immediately.

If you are not yet familiar with EFT please acquaint yourself with the Tap Map below. Find each point on your body and use your fingers to tap 7-8 times each, gently but firmly.

For clarification, the point on the hand, called the Karate Chop point is located between the base of your little finger and your wrist, on the side of your hand.

Tapping these EFT points gives you access to your energy channels, commonly referred to as meridians. These are the same channels used by an acupuncturist.

Through this process you will learn how to literally ‘go with the flow’-that is, the flow of your own energy patterns- to release blocked energy and negative emotions that cause on-going stress and anxiety.

As you release energy that has been ‘stuck’ you will begin to experience a more peaceful distance from the problem(s). You will notice gentle shifts and changes in your perception of the issues along with a calming clarity. Here’s what you will need before we begin:
* A pen and paper
* A glass of water to drink
* A quiet, private place to work

Along with the tapping you will be repeating some phrases specifically designed to release general stress. I’ll be leading you step-by-step through the tapping process so just follow along as you listen to the recording and/or read the statements.

Pause the tape at any time.

On a scale of 0-10 with 0 being no feelings of stress at all and 10 being the worst your stress has ever been, where do find yourself now? How intense are the feelings? Please jot the number down now._______

Round 1

Continuously tap the Karate Chop Point on the side of your hand.

“Even though I feel completely stressed out, I deeply and completely accept myself anyway.”

“Even though I’m stressed to the max and I can’t think straight and I feel exhausted, I deeply and completely accept myself anyway."

“Even though I feel like I can’t possibly handle one more thing without collapsing, and I don’t know how much longer I can take this, I still deeply and profoundly accept all of my feelings.”

Reminder Phrase

Eyebrow: I’m really stressed out
Side of Eye: exhausted from stress
Under Eye: I’m worried all the time
Under Nose: I’m stressed to the max
Chin: I can’t think straight
Collarbone: I can’t take much more
Under Arm: I’m at my breaking point
Top of Head: I’m sick of stress

Choices Statements

Eyebrow: I choose to release my stress
Side of Eye: I choose to give myself permission to relax
Under Eye: I choose to appreciate how stress has been trying to keep me safe
Under Nose: I choose to be passionate about letting go of stress
Chin: I choose to trust that I will be okay if I let go of my stress
Collarbone: I choose to free myself from stress and anxiety
Under Arm: I choose to feel peaceful and calm now
Top of Head: I choose to release my struggles and be free

Take a deep breath
Sip some water
Check your intensity and record it now________

For most people, the first EFT tapping round will produce immediate results. If this is not the case for you, it could be that you will need to further identify the source of your stress in order to give it a voice and release its blocked energy.
